Put down those laptops and books, and pick up some tanning oil and swimsuits because it’s officially Spring Break! If you’re coming to the Southernmost City to celebrate, then read on for some great activities and popular hot spots for Spring Break parties!
Party at Dante’s
Start off your week by spending the day at Dante’s pool bar. Dante’s is one of the most popular spots for spring breakers, and it’s easy to see why! With a huge pool, 3 surrounding bars and a delicious menu, you can easily spend hours partying it up here with your friends. If that wasn’t enough, Dante’s also has daily live entertainment with DJ’s and popular local bands. Dante’s is located downtown at 955 Caroline St.
Relax at Smathers Beach
If you’re looking to get some sun and relaxation this spring break, then come out to Smathers Beach. Smathers Beach is the biggest beach in Key West, and even offers chair and umbrella rentals. During spring break you can find the popular local pop radio station broadcasting live from the beach. Delicious food trucks are also located just steps from the beach, as well as a shaved ice bar to keep you cool while you relax! Smathers Beach is located directly across from Sheraton Suites on South Roosevelt Blvd.
Catch a Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square
Start the night off by catching a beautiful sunset at Mallory Square. Located right on the oceanfront, Mallory Square has been a favorite spot to catch a sunset for tourists and locals for years. Make sure to get there an hour beforehand though to catch the local street performers! And if you get hungry and thirsty, Mallory Square also has food trucks that offer great snacks, and little cart bars where you can grab a mojito or beer.
